“The Brightest Candle Burns Half as Long”

Faye Wade, a beloved friend and co-worker, passed from this earth on November 24^th, 2009.  Faye’s unrelenting desire to heal the sick and help those in need was only foreshadowed by her love for family and unquenchable desire for life. Faye saw everyone that her life touched as a blessing from God. Whether patient, friend, family member, beloved husband Chris or one of her two children, Nicole or Justin, Faye gave with every fiber of her being until the day she passed from this earth. Faye’s health care career touched literally thousands of lives and left a legacy that will not be forgotten. Faye worked on the team of Better Speech and Swallow from its beginning and played a key role in providing services to the residents of Frederick County.

Those of us who were blessed to have known, loved or worked with Faye think of her often and reflect on the many experiences we shared with her. As we move forward, we take her spirit with us, knowing that our paths will cross again one day. Until then, Faye, please watch over us and know that your memory will be alive in all of us until that day comes.
